A) Phone/email Support

A core part of what we do is a day to day support service for employers who want expert advice on a HR query. We listen, discuss, and then develop a plan of action for moving forward. Clients receive a personal service and tailored advice that ensures compliance with employment legislation but is reflective of the commercial realities of your business. Our retainer service offers unlimited phone/email support for a 12 month period.

B) On Site Attendance (Outsourcing)

Many clients choose not to have a populated HR Department but feel they do want a proactive HR presence on site periodically to drive HR functions. Our Consultants attend client premises at set intervals, be it weekly, monthly etc, to complete an agreed agenda of work and progress HR deliverables for our clients. These include, but are not limited to;

  • Update of core HR templates and distribution to team members (contract and handbook)
  • Assistance and administration of Interviews and Selection process
  • On-going spot checks to ensure compliance with employment law is maintained
  • Management of inductions and internal training requirements
  • Active Probation management to ensure that new starters develop satisfactorily
  • Develop templates and assist in the management of employee appraisals
  • Assist Management through disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Periodic and relevant training of Managers in HR and People Management Techniques
  • Periodic reports to senior Management on HR statistics and trends within the Company
  • Meeting with Senior Management on long term strategic HR matters
  • Prompt reaction to new employment legislation
  • Exit Interviews for resigning employees
  • Return to Work interactions for all absences

C) HR Projects

In addition to ongoing partnership support relationships, we also offer one off projects if and when required by employers. We can assist clients in any way but the more common projects we are engaged to complete include:

HR Documentation

An employer is obliged to present minimum terms of employment in writing to an employee but in truth an employer should have a comprehensive set of tailored documents including a range of Contracts of Employment, Employee Handbook, relevant policies and procedures. We can update current existing documents or prepare a new set for a client to ensure their legal obligations are met but that they also guide employees on the internal expectations and norms in their business.

HR Audit

There is a raft of Employment legislation covering the employee/employer relationship in Ireland. It is very difficult for employers, especially SME’s with no large HR department, to keep on top of all these requirements. We can prepare and conduct a customised audit for your business to review your compliance with relevant aspects of employment legislation and issue a report of findings and remedial measures.
