Tom Smyth (Snr) established our Consultancy in 1991 after more than a decade as head of HR and Personnel with Musgrave Group. With a core group of Retail Grocery clients he soon added clients across the country and developed an excellent reputation for solving HR and Employment problems for clients in a logical and pragmatic way.

Tommy joined in 2005 and has consistently grown the business all the way through the recessionary years and beyond Tom’s retirement in 2011. Fiona O’Connor joined in 2011 and has since been appointed a Director, based in Dublin and managing our key client accounts there.

The team now has specialist Employment Law, Human Resource Outsourcing and Health & Safety consultants each of whom is dedicated to their field of expertise and who can offer a customised service to clients. 

We have clients in all 26 counties of the Republic of Ireland as well as Northern Ireland, the UK and some US firms, all of whom partner with Tom Smyth & Associates to ensure they comply as employers and have systems and policies in place to create an excellent work environment for their team.
